Paulo Quiros: Recent theater work includes: Dorn in Mikhaela Mahony's The Seagull. Menzo in Marcia Milgrom Dodge's Empire. The clowns in Emission (Theater for the New City). The title role in The Bear and Kay in The Snow Queen, (both for Russian Arts Theatre). Long Distance Affair, a solo work (Buenos Aires Youth Biennial Arts Festival). The title role in Billy Bob Boils the Sea (International Youth Theatre Festival in Ordu, Turkey). Marco in Learning To Swim, (Rivers Crosses Rivers festival at EST). How did you get involved in theatre? When did you know that you wanted to be an actor?
My father was involved in film when I was very small. He never really guided me that way, but being around storytelling just kind of rubbed off on me. I never set out to be an actor exactly, but I always wanted to be involved in the collaborative telling of stories, and acting is where I found my niche.
