CALL FOR ART: 8th Annual Affordable Art Show

Our annual Affordable Art Show is back and celebrating its 8th year! 
This year, we’re aiming to make it the biggest and best one yet.

What’s the Affordable Art Show all about?
The Affordable Art Show is designed to connect artists with a broader audience by offering high-quality, original work at accessible price points. It’s the perfect opportunity for holiday shoppers to find unique, gift-worthy art, while supporting Jersey City’s creative community. We encourage submissions of smaller, affordable pieces that are easy to purchase and take home the same day, making the experience both fun and immediate for collectors of all kinds.

We’re inviting artists to submit work that will appeal to holiday shoppers. Think gift-worthy art—smaller paintings, sculptures, series, accessories, and more. All works must be priced at $500 or less.

WHERE:
Art House Gallery at The Hendrix, 345 Marin Boulevard (between Morgan and Bay St.)

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:
Friday, November 14th, by midnight

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE:
Monday, November 17th

ARTWORK DROP-OFF:
Saturday, November 29th & Sunday, November 30th, from 1 pm to 4 pm.
If these drop off times do not work for you, please do not submit.

RECEPTION:
Join us on JC Fridays on December 5th, from 5 pm to 9 pm.

GALLERY HOURS:
The gallery will be open with extended hours on Saturdays and Sundays, 12 pm to 6 pm. January will have regular hours of 1 pm to 4 pm.

EXHIBITION DATES:
December 5th, 2025 – January 24th, 2026

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please read carefully
Submit your work via email to gallery@arthouseproductions.org with "AAS" in the subject line. **PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THE CALL EMAIL, send a separate email for your submission with AAS in the subject line.

  • Label your image file name with your name, title of the piece, medium, size, and price. Submissions that are not labeled correctly will not be accepted. Please do not put text on your image.
  • All work must be priced at $500 or less.
  • Submit up to 5 images.
  • Mediums accepted: All mediums accepted including jewelry, pottery, prints and ornaments.  
  • Maximum Size Limit: 16” x 20” - including the frame if it has one.
  • Commission: 60% to the artist / 40% to Art House Productions.
