Call for Submissions: Art House Co-Pro Theater Program (2026–2027)

Art House Productions
is now accepting submissions for its Co-Pro Theater Program for the 2026 and 2027 seasons and beyond.

Are you a theater artist or company with a production-ready play? The Art House Co-Pro Program offers funding and support to help you bring your show to the stage. This is not a development process; selected productions must be fully prepared to run 12 public performances.

What is the Co-Pro Program?
The Co-Pro (Co-Production) Program is a partnership between Art House and a theater artist or company to fully produce a theatrical work. Together, we share responsibilities—Art House provides infrastructure, and the artist leads the creative direction.

- Marketing, PR, and front-of-house staffing
- Technical consultation and lighting/projection/sound equipment
- Access to free rehearsal space
- Use of Art House’s flexible black box theater in Jersey City

The Artist/Company Provides:
- An exciting production capable of running 12 performances
- Leadership of the creative process (including hiring the director, cast, and design team)
- Stage management and board operators and managing all union contracts.
- All scheduling and production management
- Regular communication and planning with Art House staff

Timeline:
- Submissions Due: Rolling Basis
- Production Window: Calendar years 2026, 2027, 2028, with schedule coordinated upon selection
