Christine Goodman, Jersey City arts powerhouse, featured in today's Star-Ledger
Christine Goodman, founder and executive director of Jersey City-based Art House Productions, is featured in a Star-Ledger story today.
What started as an informal gathering of poets and community members after 9/11, has blossomed into a well-attended, monthly performance series called the Art House, fully staged theater productions, and occasional concerts, Goodman, 30, says. "I get so much more out of the exchange of ideas here and the community and togetherness, than I ever did in Manhattan," Goodman says by way of comparing living and working in Jersey City with the Big Apple."I feel like I can breathe here."
