The Art House Gallery proudly presents T/HOWS@RT/HOWS, a solo exhibition by artist Bayard on view at the Art House Gallery from Saturday, August 1 through Sunday, August 30, 2026. 

Regular gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00–4:00 PM. All artwork will be available for purchase in person at 345 Marin Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07302, and online via the Art House Online Gallery.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bayard an artist of multidisciplinarian attitudes has been exhibiting work internationally since the late 1970s. As a fashion designer, costume designer, playwright, novelist (3 published), short story writer (over 150 published short stories in a ten year period between 1990 -2000), founding editor of the literary magazine Happy (1992-2007) and fiber artist Bayard has been lauded by Time Magazine as “Unconventional” and The Village Voice as, “the BEST!” Nominated once for the More Fashion Award, eight times for the Pushcart Prize, Bayard received The Outstanding Selection Prize for a large inflatable outdoor sculpture CURL from the Busan Biennale Seas Arts Festival in 2011. Bayard’s work is included in many outstanding collections including the Hallmark Collection in Kansas City and the collection of The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. In 2006 the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts commissioned Bayard’s work Level 7, Generation 2, 3 and 4 for exhibition on the Brown Center Lawn of the Maryland Institute College of Art and in the summers of 2010 and 2011 Bayard’s large scale inflatable work was exhibited on Governor’s Island in New York. 2015 saw two major exhibitions, Answer A Moustache at The Luise Ross Gallery New York’s vibrant Chelsea Arts District, and Blanket Coverage, President Promises Presidential Promises or Justin Bieber is the Lindsay Lohan of his Generation a site specific installation at Eonta Space in Jersey City, NJ. In the fall of 2017 Bayard’s iconic 3 Baby Bears 3 (in Five parts) was exhibited at Eonta Space while taking up the helm of exhibition programer and co-director of Jersey City’s most alternative of alternative artists’ spaces. Since 2017 bayard has been one busy bitch creating, baking, exhibiting and curating in the exploding artist community in Jersey City.
