Laugh The Night Away At The 2024 Jersey City Comedy Festival
Don’t Miss Five Consecutive Laugh-Inducing Performances Beginning June 11
JERSEY CITY, NJ- Jersey City residents can prepare for a week of laughs with the upcoming Jersey City Comedy Festival. The event is a collaboration between Art House Productions and Rich Kiamco, owner of Laugh Tour Comedy Club.
In an interview with TAPinto Jersey City, Kiamco said that this is the fifth iteration of the festival since 2018. The event went virtual in 2020 followed by a hiatus for two years before triumphantly returning in 2023.
According to Kiamco, the festival started as a monthly pop-up event ran out of Art House beginning in 2010. But after a while, it branded out and became a full-time festival hosted at Art House and the Laugh Tour Comedy Club.
Kiamco said that the festival begins at 8 p.m. on June 11. On that day, the event kicks off with a headlining performance by Rachel Feinstein, who recently released her own Netflix special debut entitled “Big Guy” and has made appearances on Comedy Central, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and Inside Amy Schumer.
After Feinstein, at 8 p.m. on June 12 the festival will feature other headliner Kyle Gordon, who recently performed as part of the 2024 Netflix Is A Joke Festival. Kiamco said he is an alumni from the first festival in 2018 and now has over 1 million followers and billions of views across social media platforms. Both shows will take place at Art House at 345 Marin Boulevard.
“The Jersey City Comedy Festival returns with an exciting lineup featuring comics from across the nation,” said Art House Productions Executive Artistic Director Meredith Burns. “We’re thrilled to have Kyle Gordon return as a headliner, following his previous appearance as an opener in 2018. Rachel Feinstein’s comedy has been a personal favorite for years, and we’re ecstatic to welcome her to Jersey City.”
