Hot Days, Cool Art: The Affordable Art Show Returns to Liberty State Park in JC

While most of us visit Liberty State Park to take in the incredible views, exercise, or have a picnic, for two weekends this summer visitors can also purchase art. The Affordable Art Show returns to the CRRNJ Terminal at Liberty State Park in July 2024. Works from over 60 artists will be featured at the show, which is produced by Art House Productions. About the Show
The show will take place Saturday, July 13th, and Sunday, July 14th, from 11AM to 6PM and again on Saturday, July 20th, and Sunday, July 21st, from 11AM to 6PM. The types of art represented styles of art will include painting, collage, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and more. As for the affordable part: all of the pieces are priced between $30 and $500 and can be purchased on-site.

Admission to the show is free. Two-hour free parking is available in Lot 9, across the street from the Terminal.

Frank Hanavan, a local Hoboken artist, is one of the artists participating in the show. Many of us have seen Frank working his magic on the sidewalks, as he is an en plein air artist, capturing street scenes and vignettes of life in and around Hudson County.
