“SLOW FAST”
Paintings by
Serena Bocchino
Curated by Andrea McKenna
The Art House Gallery is proud to present “Slow Fast”, new work by international abstract painter, Serena Bocchino, from March 1, 2019, to April 6, 2019. Reception is Saturday, March 9th from 5-7pm with a preview on Friday, March 1st, from 6-9pm as part of the JC Fridays festival. The AHP gallery exhibition will include Bocchino’s most recent paintings and sculpture curated by Art House Gallery Director, Andrea McKenna.
The exhibition will investigate a variety of ways to examine, explore and even exploit significant moments in time using paint. “The deconstructive concepts of building up and tearing down and evaluating methods of abstraction in order to create a universal language of visual compositions that move and inspire” is how Bocchino describes her work. “Serena’s work has an energy that mirrors her personality. It’s thoughtful and engaging and it will lead you into an unexpected narrative of movement and form,” says Andrea McKenna, AHP Gallery Curator.
The Art House Gallery recently had the pleasure of representing Bocchino in a large acquisition of her work by Jersey City developer, Mack-Cali Realty Corporation to be displayed in their commercial assets.
