Mercy Masala

Mercy masala is a fusion performer combining elements of bollywood, vogue, belly dance and traditional Indian dancing in their burlesque style. When mercy is not shimmying or duck walking on stage, they work as a full time crisis counselor/social worker during the day. Mercy is one of three South Asian burlesque artists in all of NYC, NJ, and CT. They hope to inspire other desi artists to follow their creative bliss, no matter how silly, slutty, or serious it may be. Please welcome to the stage...

Lucian Nightshade
- no spoons, no hinges, no filter
- former manic pixie turned chaos goblin
- gives off dark and mysterious vibes but really just disassociating
- owes the hat man money
- the distinguished idiot of draglesque

Performing tomorrow night at Qxt’s for Thrills and Chills, a Y2K Goth Babe Cabaret

This former-manic-pixie-turned-chaos-goblin has been in the nightlife scene for over a decade wearing many faces and many hats. When they’re not creating provocative political art, just shaking their booty, or generally Thembo-ing it up, they’re also a grassroots community organizer and overall revolutionary. Lillian wrote this and she hopes it doesn’t get them put on some kind of list somewhere for mentioning this, but since this only exists in print, you’re probably the only one who will see it and it’ll be fine.

Find them tomorrow night 8/21 at Qxt’s for Thrills and Chills, a Y2K Goth Babe Cabaret

Dey Phoenix
“New York City’s friendly neighborhood Black Phoenix, Dey Phoenix (he/him/his/That Bitch) is a bonafide Aquarius who specializes in sex magick and cash wizardry. Show him the money and you’ll surely be blessed with his presence!”

Poppy J Snacks
Known as “The Puerto Rican/Dominican Jack Black of Burlesque”, Poppy J Snacks (they/he) is a dynamic and THICC Non-Binary Latinx comedian, Bearlesque performer, and host based in Brooklyn. With a passion for creating inclusive spaces and making audiences laugh. A proud participant in the New York Queer Comedy Festival, Poppy is also the co-founder of "Bear Back Burlesque," NYC's only Bearlesque troupe and has a monthly show at Rockbar called Bear Back Bingo! With their boundless energy and creativity, Poppy J Snacks is a rising star in the comedy and performance art scene.

Smoke Ring
Smoke Ring is one of the hottest a capella quartets in the world! Recently placing in the top 10 for the second year in a row at the International Barbershop Harmony Society Convention, these babes are truly making waves. They’ll be competing at the Harmony Sweepstakes finals in San Francisco this October, and have wowed audiences at venues such as the US Open and NYC’s Terminal 5, where they opened for New York’s favorite queer funk jazz rock band, Sammy Rae and the Friends! They’re making waves and ringing chords right into your heart with a lot of sass and sparkle.

Antonio Amor
Antonio Amor is proof that big things come in small packages. A south Texas queen who is a proud New Jersey resident for the last decade, has made their mark in the drag and burlesque scene internationally. Select titles include Miss Panama Burlesque 2023, Empire State Entertainer of the Year 23/24, performed as a Mover, Shaker, and Innovator for the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender in Las Vegas 2024, and a 2025 World Pride Delegate for Jersey City Pride in Washington DC . They can be found performing across the tristate area, around the country, or internationally as New Jersey’s Burlesque Babe of Drag.

About Lillian Bustle:

She's a Jersey Girl with a heart of gold, and she's ready to shake things up! This gutsy broad is a Burlesque performer, singer, MC, public speaker and gleeful loudmouth about body politics. You've seen her on festival stages from Anchorage Alaska to Austin, Texas, and she currently hosts and co-produces Bounce House, A Burlesque Celebration of Body Abundance which recently played to a sold-out crowd at Lincoln Center. Although her first Burlesque performance was in 2012, she made her nightclub debut at the age of 14 as a singer in a drag show. She's been covered in glitter and boas ever since, and her mission is to help us all redefine the word "beautiful.“
