Synopsis: The story of Oscar Grant III, a 22-year-old Bay Area resident, who crosses paths with friends, enemies, family, and strangers on the last day of 2008.

After the screening, hang back for a (fun-loving informative unpretentious) talkback with Jersey City's community of film lovers, moderated by NYU Professor Jonathan Bernstein. For this screening we will be joined via ZOOM by Professor Rosemary Graham, a creative writing professor who urged Ryan Coogler to pursue a career in filmmaking. 
ABOUT CLASSIC CINEMA CLUB
The Classic Cinema Club brings film lovers of Jersey City together. This monthly series features both celebrated and underground classics onscreen in the Art House Productions theater. Art House Productions is proud to present this series with Jonathan Bernstein. Films will be followed by post-screening talkbacks, and occasional Q&As with cast, crew, and enthusiasts from the film industry.
