MEET THE PERFORMERS
EVAN LAURENCE
Evan Laurence is a singer/songwriter, actor, puppeteer and stage performer
extraordinaire and has been performing and producing solo and variety shows in New
York City and Jersey City. He has been acclaimed for his 7 roles in the musical play,
Twisted, written by Joel Greenhouse and directed by Joe John Battista. This is Evan’s
8th year variety show for Jersey City Pride and he is excited to collaborate with
Arthouse.
STEFAN WEINER
Stefan Weiner is an NYC-based queer indie folk singer-songwriter. A recent a Top Shelf
finalist in NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest 2024, Stefan creates a musical space for people to
access a deeper vulnerability. More recently, Stefan has also begun a viral series of
bawdy gay folk songs for social media, continuing to put his queerness in the
foreground, but now with a little humor too. How Lucky You Are, Stefan’s first full-length
abum, will be out in May on Better Company Records with singles rolling out through
the winter and spring.
BEAUX DEGA
Beaux Dega is a Bronx-born artist serving corner store convenience at a high-end price!
A proud member of the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, Beaux has been singing
since childhood and now blends powerhouse vocals with sharp lyricism, bringing
original music and rap to the stage. With a style that’s equal parts soulful, witty, and
unapologetic, Beauxcommands every stage with a presence that’s impossible to ignore.
Whether delivering a heartfelt ballad or spitting razor-sharp bars, Beaux Dega creates
performances that are bold, dynamic, and unforgettable. Don’t miss this rising star!
DARLIN’ TOBY
Darlin’ Toby, aka Daniel Diaz, is an interdisciplinary artist and burlesque performer. He
is a collaborator with Pioneers Go East~, a collective of radical performance and visual
artists. His work centers on burlesque and storytelling, blending a signature carnival
aesthetic with explorations of the male ego, perception, and the art of seduction.
Darlingtoby unveils the wonder of the circus with every twirl, highlighting the mystery
and intrigue within performance.
CECILĒ WILLIAMS
Cecilē has fronted a cover band, has sung the National Anthem at major stadiums
around the country as well as in her hometown of Montclair, NJ. She is a session
vocalist for a Grammy Award-winning studio head and has graced many famous stages
in NYC like The Historic Stonewall Inn, Slate, and The Copacabana, to name a few.
Being invited to perform in an Evan Laurence-produced show is always an honor and
never fails to bring pure joy as a performer.
JUSTICE LABRAVE
Queer Boricua Rock N’ Roller, Justice LaBrave, hails from Brooklyn. Delivering Power-Rock Vocals, Soulful Serenades and Funk-Dance Anthems. Amassing more than 10 years of experience as a performer, songwriter, producer and as the lead singer of several bands in the NYC circuits. Justicedebuted their first EP HEAT at the legendary Bitter End NYC to a sold out crowd. Since then Justice has returned to rocking out the nightlife circuits and live shows with singles, “Joy”, "Smoke With Me", "Always Love You" from the recently released sophomore EP"HEALING". Justice is currently recording and producing their third EP.
BENJI BRADSHAW
Described as a “creative chameleon,” Benjy Bradshaw is the epitome of a DIY musician.
His multi-ethnic background (Native American, Portuguese, English, Irish) and private
Catholic school education ultimately contributed to his constant exploration of self
through visual and creative transformations. Although he is primarily inspired by dance,
house, and new wave music, Benjy also loves to "art direct his life" -- experimenting
