Step into the world of contemporary dance and experience bold, boundary-pushing artistry. FOCUS spotlights the innovation, passion, and transformative power of movement in a shared evening of work by standout choreographers. Since launching in Fall 2024, the series has produced seven inspiring shows featuring more than twenty-four incredible choreographers—an ongoing collaboration between Kenia Rosete Dance and Art House Productions to bring more dance to New Jersey and the greater NY Metro area.
FOCUS returns this season with a special featured College Spotlight. Witness the work of college students from NJ, NY and the greater NY metro area as the next generation takes the stage!

ABOUT KENIA ROSETE DANCE
Kenia Rosete Dance brings social and contemporary dance forms to life through teaching, production, and live performance. Led by Artistic Director Kenia C. Rosete—a Mexican-American dancer, choreographer, educator, and performance producer — KRDance draws from her roots in the borderlands of Tijuana, Mexico, and San Diego, California to create moments of connection across distance. It operates bi-coastally, with a presence in Southern California and the Jersey City/New York City metro area.
KRDance has been presented at venues including The Mayan (CA), Café Sevilla (CA), La Nacional (NY), SMUSH Gallery (NJ), Arts On Site (NY), IMUR Gallery (NJ), and Art House Productions (NJ). Kenia Rosete Dance is a three-time recipient of the Jersey City Arts and Culture Trust Fund grant, 2023 Monira Foundation resident, a 2025 SMUSH Dance Fellowship program participant, and Kenia C. Rosete is a 2025 Choreography Finalist from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
