Christine Goodman

Christine Goodman is an arts and culture leader whose career has been dedicated to building creative communities, supporting artists, and expanding access to the arts.

In 2001, Christine founded Art House Productions with a vision of creating a home for original, adventurous, and community-centered artistic work. Over the next 16 years as Executive Director, she grew the organization into a vibrant multidisciplinary arts nonprofit, presenting theater, visual art, dance, music, poetry, and educational programming while creating opportunities for artists and audiences to connect. Her founding vision helped lay the groundwork for Art House Productions to become an enduring part of Jersey City’s cultural landscape.

Christine went on to serve as Director of the City of Jersey City’s Office of Cultural Affairs, where she championed artists, advanced cultural policy, and led citywide programming reaching hundreds of thousands of people. She oversaw the development and implementation of New Jersey’s first municipal Arts & Culture Trust Fund, which has invested millions of dollars in artists and cultural organizations throughout the city.

Today, Christine serves as Director of Artistic Programming and Special Experiences at Longwood Gardens, one of the great gardens of the world, where she brings her experience in artistic leadership, creative programming, and immersive public experiences to a new setting.

Christine’s career reflects a longstanding belief in the power of the arts to bring people together, strengthen communities, and make extraordinary experiences accessible to all.

She is honored to return to Art House Productions for the Snow Ball, celebrating the organization and the artists, audiences, and community members who continue to bring its mission to life.
