Our annual Affordable Art Show is back and celebrating its 9th year!
What’s the Affordable Art Show all about?
The Affordable Art Show is designed to connect artists with a broader audience by offering high-quality, original work at accessible price points. It’s the perfect opportunity for holiday shoppers to find unique, gift-worthy art, while supporting Jersey City’s creative community. We encourage submissions of smaller, affordable pieces that are easy to purchase and take home the same day, making the experience both fun and immediate for collectors of all kinds.
We’re inviting artists to submit work that will appeal to holiday shoppers. Think gift-worthy art—smaller paintings, sculptures, series, accessories, and more. All works must be priced at $500 or less.
Exhibition Details
- Exhibition: December 4th, 2026 – January 23rd, 2027

Opening Reception: Friday, December 4th, 2026 (JC Fridays), from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Submission Details:
- Submission Deadline: Friday, November 13th, by midnight
- Notification of Acceptance: Monday, November 16th
- Artwork Drop-off: Saturday, November 28th & Sunday, November 29th, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Eligibility
- Open to all artists.
- All artistic mediums are welcome except artwork created using generative AI. AI-generated artwork will not be considered.
- Maximum dimensions:
- Height: 10 feet
- Width: 48 inches
- Video installations are welcome. Artists must provide all equipment necessary for a successful exhibition.
- There is no submission fee.
- Artwork sales are split 60% to the artist / 40% to Art House Productions.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please read carefully
Submit your work via email to gallery@arthouseproductions.org with "AAS" in the subject line.
- Label your images in the file type of your jpeg with your name, title of the piece, medium, size (including frame size if any), and price. EXAMPLE: Jane Doe_Sunset over Jersey City_Oil on canvas_16x20 with frame_$300.
- Do not label your submission on the image itself. Submissions that are not labeled correctly will not be accepted.
- All work must be priced at $500 or less.
- Submit up to 5 images.
- The artwork you submit must be ready to hang on the wall, canvases must be wired (except 5”x7” or smaller), photos must be framed with hanging hardware on the back.
- Mediums accepted: painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, prints and ornaments. Postcards will not be accepted.
- Maximum Size Limit: 18” x 24” in any direction - Frame size included.
- Commission: 60% to the artist / 40% to Art House Productions.
