Blake Brown

Blake Brown is from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she started her ballet journey at the Colorado Youth Ballet. During her training, she earned scholarships to at the American Academy of Ballet in New York, the Joffrey Ballet Academy in Chicago, and State Street Ballet in Santa Barbara, California. Blake launched her professional career with Ballet Idaho as a guest artist in the "The Nutcracker" from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, she joined State Street Ballet in Santa Barbara, and in 2016, she became a member of the American Swiss Ballet Company in New York City, where she danced until 2023. Additionally, she joined the RavensquidBallet Compagnie in Paris, France, for the Fall/Winter season of 2022. 

Throughout her time in New York, Blake has collaborated with a diverse array of choreographers and companies, including the Metropolitan Ballet, where she danced the principal role of Myrtha in "Giselle." Her artistic repertoire also includes performances with Orsolina 28, City Dance NY, Jersey City Ballet, and more, as well as choreographing and performing in various independent projects. She currently works as a freelance artist with various companies and choreographers around NYC and beyond.
