Tris McCall Story Hour: GUS | December 4, 2026

Art House Productions presents
Tris McCall Story Hour: GUS
Friday, December 4, 2026 at 8:00 PM

Hello, it’s Tris McCall, here to read (and sing) you an all-consuming story about a man with an appetite for all things.

Gus has been transferred to Las Vegas by the Conglomeration. There, he is expected to be the big man at every banquet, out-eating the executives representing the other casinos.  Can his voraciousness keep up with the demands of the Strip and the mirage of unlimited expansion that it represents?  What if it does?

I’ll read his tale from *McCall’s Almanac*, and some talented friends of mine will add color to his cheeks with songs, projections, and, perhaps, a zombie apocalypse. Expect references to gambling, corporate sabotage, bicycles (and coyotes) in the desert, prosciutto, etcetera.  It’s a gag, a lark, a national anthem, a campfire haunting, and a warning.

Please direct yourself to this reading of the most intense and unsettling story in the *Almanac.*  You are invited to the dining hall; select surf, or turf, or the vegetarian option.
