Step into a world where imagination leaps off the pages of your favorite children’s books and onto the stage! The Reading Rocks Magic Show celebrates the joy of reading presented by award‑winning magician Joe Holiday. Aside from visiting thousands of elementary schools and libraries in the Northeast for over twenty years, Joe has appeared on the Bravo network, Six Flags theme parks and on cruise lines around the globe. This performance showcases both popular and classic children’s books using creative stage magic, situational comedy, pop music and audience participation for an interactive storytelling experience. Some Newbery Award and Caldecott winning titles included such as "Harold and the Purple Crayon", "The Harry Potter series", "How to Eat Fried Worms", “Diary of a Wimpy Kid" and many more!
Runtime: 60-minutes and is appropriate for children and adults of all ages!

About Magician Joe Holiday
Over the past 25 years, award winning magician and illusionist Joe Holiday has continued to grab the attention of live audiences across the globe. On screen, Joe’s original and engaging style landed him on international television as a featured guest star in Harary's multi-million dollar "Mega Magic Illusion Show” thrilling over a million viewers throughout Asia. On stage, Holiday’s unique brand of comedy magic, intrigue, and excitement has crossed cultural and language barriers, solidifying him as a professional entertainer. He has been a featured performer in countless shows throughout Singapore, China, Seoul South Korea, up and down the east coast, including the casinos his hometown of Atlantic City. Recently, Joe completed a sixteen-year residency for Club Wyndham Skyline tower, “His shows have the ability to keep customers and audiences coming back night after night” said hotel director Megan Scherer. His clean professional style and material have made him a choice entertainer at major events for mega companies such as Google International, Honda Motor Corporation, and KPMG. Most recently appearing on the Bravo network show Next Gen NYC. In 2013 and again in January 2026, Joe Holiday had the honored privilege of performing his magic act for U.S. troops stationed overseas, along with many other A-list celebrities. Since that time, Joe Holiday has received the Atlantic City Weekly Nightlife Award for “Best Local Comedian (2015)” and the TripAdvisor Award of Excellence for his self-produced show, “Magic & Mayhem”. The show’s premiere enjoyed a successful, two-year run with over 500 performances, at the famed Comedy Stop in the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. Hailed as “Atlantic City’s Favorite Magician” by the Press of Atlantic City, Joe Holiday currently spends his time in South Jersey with his wife Sharon and their two daughters Angelina and Marguerite, and as the resident magician for world class resorts including Mohonk Mountain House, Wyndham Resorts, and Marriott Vacation Clubs.
