‘Trans-lucid’ will leave viewers questioning their connection to the world

An exhibition of works by Frank Ippolito, “Trans-lucid,” will be featured at the Art House Gallery from Saturday, April 15, through Sunday, April 30.

Ippolito is a Jersey City-based artist who is fascinated with the scattering of light passing through a translucent surface, which serves as the focus of this new exhibit. He uses mixed-media constructs combined with photography, painting, found objects, and internal illumination in his artwork.

In some of his pieces, Ippolito introduces viewers to the element of time, inviting them to become the engine of motion.
