Things to do this weekend in Hudson County
The very affordable art show
It’s another week of in-person pick-ups at “The Very Affordable Art Show” this Saturday, Jan. 9, from noon to 5 p.m. The show includes over 250 works of art from 54 artists all priced at $250 and under.
Works include paintings, small sculptures, and handmade gifts. All works will be for sale in the Art House Gallery, 262 17th St., Jersey City, and also made available for purchase online through the Art House Productions website. The show will be available through February 2021.
Also, Art House will be moving out of Cast Iron Lofts at the end of January. As a means of honoring the community, $5 spots can be purchased in its Let’s Dance Mural. Your photo, or a photo of a loved one, will be in their front mural to greet passerby at their new space at 184 Morgan St., Jersey City.
When you make the donation at https://ci.ovationtix.com/35606/store/donations/37319, Art House will contact you to get the photo. There is limit of one person per picture and no group photos but there is no limit to spots that can be purchased by a single donor, so buy one for yourself and a loved one. Donations must be received by Jan. 24, at 10 a.m.
