French-Inspired Picnic Party, Le Dîner en Blanc, Coming To JC On Aug. 25

JERSEY CITY, NJ –  Le Dîner en Blanc, a popular French-inspired pop-up picnic known for its all-white dress code, is coming to Jersey City for the first time ever this summer.

Hosted by Art House Productions in partnership with the City of Jersey City and the Office of Cultural Affairs, the mass “chic picnic” is being billed as an “elegant, ephemeral and magical” experience.

While the exact location of the Aug. 25 festivities are being kept under wraps until the day of the event, organizers say it’ll be held in one of Jersey City’s “best-known public spaces” and will be an evening filled with white-clad attendees “conducting themselves with the greatest decorum, elegance and etiquette,” organizers said.
