Arts, music highlight ‘JC Fridays’ festival in Jersey City

It was a rockin' Friday night in, of all places, a beauty salon decked with photographs in Jersey City where a band played an up-tempo song.

Stylist and musician Stephen Cunniff turned his Imago Beauty Group into not only a concert space, but also a gallery. The photographs on the walls were as plentiful as the hair supplies.

Citizens will find art in unexpected places as part of 'JC Fridays,' a free art crawl at venues throughout the city.
