Art House offers virtual internships for college students who have an interest in pursuing a career in performing & visual arts. Our internships are a great opportunity to develop new skills and gain credible experience working with a tight-knit team that outwardly serves the Jersey City arts scene.

Candidates must be 18 years old. Candidates should be available 10 hours per week, for at least 8 consecutive weeks in Fall 2020. Candidates will work remotely, so can be located anywhere in the US. Preference will be given to Jersey City-based applicants.
Interns are compensated with a $200 stipend and academic credit at the discretion of the sponsoring college. Interns will receive an ethernet cable and necessary office supplies.
Virtual Arts Administration Internship
Provides the opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day producing activities of a multidisciplinary arts center, and learn about the planning and producing of virtual theater, presented events, dance, festivals, art gallery, and special events. Interns will get weekly educational seminars with industry professionals and sit in on staff meetings. Interns assist with marketing, social media, mailing list maintenance, patron services, and audience outreach. Interns may serve as technical assistance for virtual events, and assist with general office duties including filing, and data entry. Strong interest in performing and visual arts administration is required. Prior experience in an office or customer service work environment preferred. Reports to the Executive Director & Producing Director.
