About Justin Woo
Jersey City resident and Rutgers graduate Justin Woo is a Chinese-American poet, theatre artist, and DJ. He has performed at universities and theatres in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, including the 2007 NYC Fringe Festival, the Tony Award-winning Crossroads Theatre, and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe. He has collaboratively created five multidisciplinary spoken word theatre pieces, and is currently working with the New Street Collective and the Spoken Word Almanac Project to create two new shows that will go up in February `10 and December `09, respectively. His goal is to encourage positive social and political change through the creation and
performance of startling, extraordinary poetry and theatre.
Justin firmly believes that more people need to ask if Jersey is in the house.
Based in Jersey City, NJ, Art House Productions has been creating innovative performance, broadcast, and publishing opportunities for artists since September 2001. More information can be found or by calling 201-915-9911.
